Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before booking and staying at our hosted accommodation. By making a reservation and/or occupying the property, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions:
- Reservation and Payment
All reservations must be made through our official booking channels.
Full payment is required to confirm your reservation. This will be processed within 30 days of your arrival at Anchor Down.
Payment methods accepted will be communicated during the booking process.
Any outstanding balance must be settled upon check-in.
- Check-in and Check-out
Check-in time is from 3pm to 9pm on the day of arrival, and check-out time is by 10am on the day of departure.
Early check-in and late check-out may be accommodated subject to availability and additional charges. Requests must be made in advance.
- Occupancy
The maximum occupancy for the accommodation is 4 people.
Subletting or sharing the accommodation with individuals not listed in the reservation is strictly prohibited.
- House Rules
Guests must adhere to any house rules provided by the host, displayed within the property, or communicated during the check-in process.
The property should be treated with respect, and noise should be kept at reasonable levels, especially during quiet hours.
- Security Deposit
A security deposit may be required upon check-in to cover any damages or violations during your stay.
The security deposit, or any remaining amount after deductions for damages, will be refunded within 10 days after check-out, pending property inspection.
- Cancellation Policy
The following policy will be strictly adhered to:
If cancellation 30 days prior to a guest arrival a refund of 100% will be made.
Any cancellation after this point is nonrefundable and guests will be charged 100% of their stay dates.
- Liability
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings during their stay. The host shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or theft of guest property.
The host shall not be liable for any injuries, accidents, or medical emergencies that may occur on the property during the stay.
- Smoking and Pets
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the accommodation. Designated smoking areas, if available, must be used.
Bringing pets onto the property is not allowed unless explicitly permitted by the host in advance.
- Amenities and Facilities
Guests are expected to use all amenities and facilities provided with care and in accordance with any instructions given by the host.
Any damages caused to amenities or facilities due to negligence or misuse may incur charges for repair or replacement.
- Cleaning and Maintenance
The host will ensure the property is clean and well-maintained before check-in.
Guests are expected to keep the accommodation reasonably tidy during their stay. Cleaning services during the stay are available of request.
- Force Majeure
The host shall not be liable for any delays or cancellations caused by events beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, Cook Strait Ferry cancellations or governmental actions.
We strongly advise guests have travel insurance for both domestic and international travel to assist with additional costs associated with the above.
- Compliance with Laws
Guests must comply with all local laws and regulations during their stay.
- Privacy Policy
The host will respect your privacy. Personal information collected during the booking process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By booking and staying at our hosted accommodation, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions. The host reserves the right to amend or update these terms and conditions as necessary. It is the responsibility of the guests to stay informed about any changes.
